Not only does our very successful and popular Sylter Wissenschaftssommer (Sylt Science Summer) get Science and Culture - Nobel Prize Winners and Artists - to sit down and talk every summer in a series of lectures and debates with top class speakers and invited quests, but the kunst:raum syltquelle hosts science events throughout the year which provide insight into current scientific thinking and artistic processes. All science events are dialogue-based and meant to provide a forum in which scientists, philosophers and artists of all disciplines can meet and exchange points of view, thus creating a platform for universal and relevant social criticism.
